🎯Our Commitment to Responsible Gaming

At wlbd, we believe that sports betting and casino games should be a form of entertainment — a fun and engaging experience that enhances your enjoyment of cricket, football and other events you already love. We never want gambling on wlbd to become a source of financial hardship, emotional distress or personal harm for any of our players.

That commitment shapes everything we do, from the tools we build into your account settings to the training our support team receives. This page explains the protective features available on wlbd, the warning signs of problem gambling, and how to get help if you or someone close to you needs it.

💳Setting and Managing Deposit Limits

Deposit limits are one of the most effective ways to ensure that gambling remains within a budget you are comfortable with. On wlbd you can set a maximum deposit amount for any of the following time periods:

  • Daily deposit limit — restricts the total amount you may deposit within any single calendar day (Bangladesh Standard Time, UTC+6).
  • Weekly deposit limit — restricts your total deposits over any rolling 7-day window, regardless of whether those days fall within one or two calendar months.
  • Monthly deposit limit — restricts your total deposits over any rolling 30-day period. This is the broadest limit and is recommended for players who prefer to budget on a salary or income cycle.
  • Reducing a deposit limit takes effect immediately. Increasing a limit is subject to a 7-day cooling-off period to protect you from impulsive decisions made in the heat of the moment.

To set a deposit limit, log in to your wlbd account and navigate to Account Settings → Responsible Gaming → Deposit Limits. If you need assistance, contact support at [email protected] and our team will help you configure the right limit for your situation.

Time-Out and Self-Exclusion

Sometimes a break from gambling is the healthiest choice. wlbd offers two levels of account suspension to suit different needs:

  • Time-Out (short break) — suspend your account for 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days. During a time-out, you cannot log in, deposit, place bets or access any real-money game. Your account balance is preserved. Time-out ends automatically at the expiry of the chosen period, after which you may resume play.
  • Self-Exclusion (extended break) — exclude yourself from wlbd for 6 months, 1 year, 2 years or permanently (indefinitely). Self-exclusion is a stronger commitment: the period cannot be shortened once it has been activated, and during this time you will not receive any promotional communications from wlbd.
  • During self-exclusion, any pending withdrawals will be processed normally so that your remaining balance is returned to you promptly.
  • If you wish to reactivate an account after a completed self-exclusion period, you must contact support directly. wlbd will apply a 24-hour reflection period before reactivation and will not reactivate an account under a permanent self-exclusion under any circumstances.
Important: If you are self-excluding because gambling has caused serious harm to you or your family, we strongly encourage you to contact our support team and speak openly about your situation. Our support team is trained to listen without judgment and to connect you with further help if needed.

🔍Recognising the Warning Signs

Problem gambling can develop gradually and is not always obvious, even to the person experiencing it. The following behaviours may suggest that gambling is moving from a recreational activity into a more problematic pattern:

  • Spending more money or more time gambling than you originally planned, and finding it difficult to stop once you have started a session.
  • Chasing losses — continuing to bet in order to win back money you have already lost, often increasing your bet size in the hope of a quick recovery.
  • Borrowing money or selling personal possessions to fund gambling activity, or neglecting essential household expenses such as rent, food or bills in order to gamble.
  • Feeling irritable, anxious or low in mood when you are unable to gamble, or using gambling as a way of relieving stress, loneliness, boredom or emotional pain.
  • Hiding your gambling activity from family members, partners or friends, or lying about the amount of time or money you are spending on gambling.
  • Neglecting work, study, family responsibilities or personal health because of time spent gambling or thinking about gambling.
  • Feeling a persistent urge to gamble even when you know it is causing problems, and being unable to stop despite repeated efforts or genuine intentions to quit.

Recognising any of these signs in yourself or someone you care about is the first and most important step. wlbd encourages you to act on that recognition early — the responsible gaming tools on this page are here to help, and our support team is available around the clock.

📋Quick Self-Assessment

Use the following questions to reflect honestly on your own gambling habits. These are not diagnostic tools — they are prompts to help you think clearly about your relationship with gambling on wlbd:

In the past month, have you ever felt the urge to bet more than you had planned when you first opened the app?

Never — my sessions always stay within my planned budget. Sometimes — I occasionally go a little over but I catch myself. Often — I regularly end up spending more than I intended.

Have you ever tried to recover money you lost by placing more bets, rather than accepting the loss and stopping?

No — I accept wins and losses as part of the game. Once or twice — it has happened but it is not a pattern. Regularly — I often find myself chasing losses.

Has gambling ever caused you to feel stress, anxiety or conflict with people who are important to you?

No — gambling has had no negative impact on my relationships or wellbeing. Occasionally — there have been minor tensions but nothing serious. Yes — gambling has led to arguments, stress or emotional problems for me.

If your answers lean toward the third option in any of the questions above, we encourage you to activate a time-out or self-exclusion on your account, and to reach out to our support team. There is no shame in asking for help — it is a sign of good judgment.

💡Tips for Safer Gambling

Whether you are new to wlbd or a long-term player, these habits will help keep gambling enjoyable and well within healthy boundaries:

  • Treat gambling purely as entertainment, not as an income source or a financial strategy. The expected long-term outcome of casino and sports betting is a net loss, and that is fine as long as it is money you are comfortable spending on fun.
  • Before each session, decide in advance the maximum amount you are willing to lose and the maximum time you are willing to spend. When you reach either limit, end the session regardless of whether you are up or down.
  • Never gamble with money that is allocated for essential expenses — rent, food, utilities, school fees or any other household obligation. Only use funds that are genuinely disposable.
  • Avoid gambling when you are feeling emotional, stressed, tired or under the influence of alcohol. Decision-making in those states is impaired, and betting outcomes during such sessions are typically worse than your usual results.
  • Take regular breaks during sessions. Use wlbd's session timer feature to get automatic reminders, and step away from the screen for at least a few minutes between gaming sessions to reset your thinking.
  • Balance gambling with other leisure activities — cricket matches with friends, time outdoors, social events or hobbies. A healthy overall lifestyle makes it much easier to keep gambling in its proper recreational place.

👶Protecting Young People

The wlbd platform is strictly for adults aged 21 and above. We verify player age during the account registration and KYC process, and we reserve the right to suspend and close any account where we have reasonable grounds to suspect the account holder is under 21. If you share a device with younger family members or children, we strongly recommend enabling your device's parental control or screen time management features to prevent underage access to the wlbd platform.

If you become aware that a person under 21 has gained access to and is using a wlbd account — including an account that was originally registered by an eligible adult — please contact us immediately at [email protected]. Underage gambling is taken extremely seriously and will be escalated to our compliance team without delay.

🤝Get Help — You Are Not Alone

If you feel that gambling is no longer a form of entertainment and has started to cause real harm in your life — financially, emotionally or in your relationships — please do not wait. Reaching out early makes recovery significantly easier. wlbd's support team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and every message we receive about gambling-related concerns is treated with complete confidentiality and genuine care.
